Liz Baerg
Liz Baerg(she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a Master’s in Counselling.
Liz brings over 20 years of experience supporting new moms, teens, families, and individuals navigating life transitions or barriers to employment. She offers counselling for youth, adults, and couples, and believes therapy can be a meaningful space for anyone—whether you’re exploring a new stage of life, working through grief or trauma, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself.
Liz’s approach is warm, client-centred, and grounded in curiosity and compassion. She draws on a range of evidence-based practices including solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and somatic approaches that support the integration of mind and body. She enjoys bringing creativity into her work and collaborating with clients to tap into their strengths and move toward what matters most to them.
Lauren Marshall
Lauren Marshall (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vancouver Island University, an Addictions Studies Certificate, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Lauren works with youth, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and relational challenges. She offers both in-person sessions in Parksville and virtual counselling across BC, and is trained in EMDR therapy.
Her approach is trauma-informed and relational, grounded in how the nervous system shapes our thoughts, emotions, and behaviour. Lauren integrates EMDR with nervous system-informed practices to help clients process their experiences and move forward, rather than staying stuck in them. She works especially well with people caught in patterns of people-pleasing, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection from themselves. Her focus is on building awareness, regulation, and a stronger sense of self.
Lauren is known for her warm, genuine presence and her ability to create a space that feels both safe and real. She believes meaningful change begins with feeling understood and able to show up as you are.
