Penny Welch, OMP (M.OMSc) is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (OMP) dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and mobility. She graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Master’s in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc), completing over 4,200 educational hours and 1,000 supervised clinical hours. Prior to this, Penny earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics with a minor in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences from the University of Guelph.

Penny’s approach to osteopathy is grounded in the principle that the body functions as a dynamic, interconnected unit. She specializes in identifying and addressing compensatory patterns caused by injuries, surgeries, or lifestyle habits that lead to pain and dysfunction. Using gentle, non-invasive techniques, Penny supports clients of all ages in restoring mobility, balance, and overall well-being.

Penny has extensive experience treating chronic conditions such as arthritis, sciatica, and migraines, as well as supporting pregnant individuals and children. With plans to expand her expertise in pediatric and intraoral treatments, she is passionate about helping patients optimize their health at every stage of life.

Outside of her practice, Penny enjoys spending time with her cockapoo, Neptune, and her partner, Michael. Her commitment to lifelong learning and patient-centred care makes her an integral part of the Parksville Wellness Collective team.
